These are the results of a Six Week Transformation!!!
For a long time, everyday of my life was filled with fear. This was a result of a long line of incidents (some violent, some emotional), culminating in my being brutally and randomly attacked on two separate occasions. My self esteem was in the gutter along with my hopes and dreams for a contented and confident life. At this point I decided something had to change!! So I took the novel approach of trying to change my life, as Paul would say, from the outside in. I joined a gym as much of my self esteem, or lack thereof, was attached to my skinny physique. I equated weakness physically to worthlessness as a person. I prayed to God to give me the courage to face the world and make the moves I needed to get my life back on track. Taking the first steps and joining a gym was a HUGE deal for me at the time and very scary. As each day went by my emotional strength paralleled my physical strength. Until, one year down the line, I had built myself up quite a bit, in every way. I took my new physique and tried to make some use out of it, applying to a modelling agency. I was turned down. But the biggest victory for me was having the heart to try, and although I was disappointed, I didnt get disheartened. I knew it just wasnt the right time and that I needed to improve. I figured I needed to enlist the help of a professional. I came across Pauls website and looked no further to be honest. This guy had worked what seemed like miracles! I was particularly drawn to the story of Philip Crilly a.k.a oneyearon. He too was an 'average Joe' who almost made it to the final of the Mens Health Cover Model Final within less than a year of commencing his training!! I now had a new goal. I wanted to make it to the cover of Mens Health Magazine! Once I started my training with Paul it was already too late to enter the 2009 competition so we turned our focus to 2010. The pictures you see here are the result of SIX WEEKS training with Paul! Enough said. (shortly after these pictures were taken John, whose bench press went up by 30kg in the 6 week training period, came second in the junior national bench press competition and has also been accepted by a modelling agency). Achievements: IDFPA Irish junior Bench Press Silver Medalist, 82.5kg Category (@ 77kg bw) Professional Male Model
