I
first came to Paul with what must have seemed like a crazy notion at the
time. I informed him in our initial
consultation that the goal I had for our training was to make it to the cover
of Mens Health Magazine! At the time
I was devoid of any muscle and could be described as a little bit chubby
Philip
had never trained before in his life and his goal was to win the Mens Health
Cover Model of the year competition (which pulls in well over 10,000 entries
now), and do so within 1 year of training!
Philip
entered the cover model competition and didnt make it to the highly
prestigious Grand Final, but he has received a landslide of amazing compliments
from the hard to impress Mens Health Discussion Boards! Here is a small sample of the awesome
feedback he has accumulated from the Mens Health Discussion Board:
Well done mate, the transformation is epic! Good story as well, give it a shot Holy sweet mother of jesus!!!
.
Well done, lad. One of the most impressive entries I've seen. really well done mate, best transformation i have seen in a long time. Really keep it going. Good luck with the competition, dont worry if you dont get through as some of the guys entering will have been hitting the weights for a few more years than you. Good luck! oneyearon, thats is definately one of the best transformations i have ever seen. absolutely brilliant. Great combination of size and cuts. Inspirational to me and i am a fairly experienced trainer. Best of luck too you :) ..
All i can say is congratulations - that's seriously amazing progress. What makes it all the better is that i'm a fairly similar shape / size to you in the original photograph (although i do have slightly better boxers). To think that i could hopefully see the same levels of progress in a year is massively motivational. I've printed off your before and after pics (not in a ghey way!) and am going to use them as inspiration / motivation for when i'm knackered or can't be arsed to go to the gym. Just seeing them makes me think "i can do that". Could you post up more details of your diet (either on here or on your blog) - i'd love to see what and when you were eating. Thanks. you look much younger in the after photos. I actually came back to look at the photos again. I am thinking of setting myself a 1year goal and taking before and after photos. A swimmer??...he looks like a russian gymnast lol Great work again oneyearon Phenomenal progress. Your an inspiration. Well done. You look amazing!! Congratulations!! Oneyearon, fantastic results. You started off with a ordinary looking body that alot of blokes have and within just a year you've got the well toned physique of a Calvin Klein model. And the pants to match too. Remarkable and a great inspiration.
Men'sHealth ONLINE FITNESS EDITOR Oneyearon, you're a true idol to the average weight trainer. People like you are few and far between, but you're here to show is that this does not have to be the case. Anything is possible. Your pictures are now on my bedroom wall for inspiration, and motivation. My housemate will likely tell everyone I'm a batty boy but I don't care, he's a bloated alcoholic with green teeth. Here's to perpetual self improvement my friend. Hey oneyearon Someone on another thread brought my attention to your blog That's absolutely amazing . IMO oneyearon had a few guys beat...as did a few others i seen on this site. were the finalists picked at random or was a more sophisticated method of say a postcode lottery implemented? Saw your new pictures. I hope I can stay that focussed. It's hard but you are one real big motivation. It's possible!! Keep us informed!! A ladies opinion..... because we know you do care what we think really boys ;-) You look amazing!!! Absolutely bloody gorgeous, and as its already been said a true inspiration to many. Well done hun x wow what u have achieved in a year is incredible, what will u be like twoyearson lol |
